Permission and privacy boundary

macOS requires Screen Recording permission because Lenscap reads pixels from the display. Recording and encoding happen on the Mac. The app contains no analytics or capture telemetry, and ordinary recordings are not sent to a Lenscap-operated service.

Prelaunch status

The official paid download is not available today. Lenscap will open sales only after the release artifact passes signing, notarization, stapling, and Gatekeeper verification.
