Choose based on the workflow

Choose Shottr when a free entry point, Intel or older macOS support, or extremely tall vertical screenshots matters most. Choose to follow Lenscap when the same utility also needs local MP4 or GIF recording, a recent-capture history, and no optional diagnostics in the Mac app.
